The 10th edition of the Animal Festival is coming soon!
Brazil's largest cinema event for the benefit of animals is scheduled to take place in September 2024, in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina! Also featuring screenings in Blumenau, Belo Horizonte, Uberaba, Cuiabá, Curitiba, and other cities! Follow the Animal Festival on social media (@mostraanimal) to stay tuned!

Send your audiovisual work defending animals for free. Show your perspective and help spread new ideas and solutions!
Remember to send the filled and signed Exhibition Authorization Document (English) along with the rest of the materials, or after confirmation of selection by the event's curatorial team, to the email address: The results will be communicated within 30 days after the submission deadline via the email provided during the film’s submission.

About the International Film Festival for the Animals
Organized by the Brazilian Vegetarian Society (Sociedade Vegetariana Brasileira, SVB), the event was launched in 2009 in the city of Curitiba and aims to create a debate about animal rights and the socio-environmental impacts that human interaction with other animals can bring.
The Animal Festival is an event for audiovisual productions from any country that address the various aspects of the relationship between humans and non-human animals in all its aspects, whether they are cooperative or exploitative, as well as related to the socio-environmental impacts that this interaction can bring.
The films are screened to the general public for free, and previous editions have brought together renowned artists, environmentalists, activists, authorities, writers, and above all, animal admirers and defenders.
In addition to film screenings, the event offers discussions with producers, lectures, workshops, and a wide range of exhibitors, including food, products, services, and much more!
